I love a riddle.
Mention a Quiz/ Mystery/ Quest and i am there!
Recently, HiddenCity have been running a series of Treasure Hunts across London, some friends and i decided to pop along to a Sherlock Holmes themed teaser.
Without giving too much away… it was brilliant!
Set around the Baker St area, our team was given our meeting place at the Royal British Institute for Architects. Once at our meeting place, we began the hunt!
A series of clues (sent to us via text message), found us exploring parts of the area i would never think of going! Pubs/ Museums/ Cafes… it was a hoot!
Tickets can be booked here.
Once finished and thoroughly pleased with ourselves (and our time!), we began a sort of unchaperoned pub crawl…
(and found the location of my new restaurant crush… SexyFish)
Whats Sexy about it i hear you cry? The Fish are naked…..
We wasn’t quite ready for subsistence so seeked out refuge from the cool evening at Mews of Mayfair. (admittedly we were still outside, but they provide patio heaters and comfy throws to snuggle into…)
Starting with my favorite French Martini!
Before seeking to settle our rumbling tums at The Guinea
Famous for its pies.
I went for their Steak and Mushroom Pie with Horseradish Mash
A few dived into the full grill (steak, sausage, heart, liver, kidney, egg, mushroom, tomato…)
I caved and tried a friends Dauphin Potatoes (they tasted just as good as they look)!
We all agreed it was fantastic!
